About Design Plan Document

Being a member of the Design Matters (BDAV) is a way of keeping sure that I am up to date with industry changes. As a registered building practitioner, I am also informed of updates to the National Construction Code on a regular basis via Victorian Building Authority seminars and newsletters. Of course trade shows are always a fun way to keep up to date with the latest building technology and materials on offer. I can never quite understand why there is age discrimination in our workforce. The humility, understanding and experience you gain with age in all aspects of your life are valuable commodities to understanding others. Integrity has become the most attractive personal quality that I look for in others and consequently a trait that I value of myself. Put simply having integrity is following through on what you promise to deliver. What I say, I do. Very simple. And I like to get involved…. I like to advocate for fairness. In 2014 I stood for a seat in the Victorian State Election. Proudly I achieved the largest swing in metro Melbourne by standing up for access to public schools. Helping to stand up against the sale of public housing in Victoria. Currently working to help another progressive voice get elected in Melbourne’s North. Support other women in business through networking and trade.
