NS Incorporated, whose main proponent is the designer Luis “Chito” with over 35 years of combined experience, is a product of the Asian Development Bank Headquarters (ADB) project in Metro-Manila, Philippines. Among others he was nurtured and became close associates of Medi Nasrabadi and Craig Kronenberg of Skidmore Owings Merill (SOM). After ADB. he undertook high profile projects working together closely with colleagues and peer, addressing the needs of different clients, who are mostly property developers, a task requiring special design skills. Heeding a gaining clamor to assemble the combined strength of experiences in different fields of practice, he finally decided to put up this vibrant company. now most popularly known as NSI. Teamed up with new and former design Associates to back-up every endeavor, this team could stimulate and recreate exciting, sophistIcated architectural ideas. The superb comblnatIon can only be geared to one goal and end-product – achieve excellence. Medi Nasrabadl of SOM played an important role in moldIng the way Chito & Associates would think & act in dealIng with project analysis and design peculiarities. Such outlook alleviated with ease would be structural, mechanical, and aesthetical conflIcts since resultant resolutions offered were borne from international work experience. Aside form SOM, he had worked in collaboratJon with a number of foreign-based firm, i.e. Steelman and Partners, Aedas, K&A Designs, Glenn Texeira Inc., Kenzo Tange & Associates, Miyake Masaki and others.
