The SwanCare Aged Care Facility was in need of a renovation. However, they required an installation that was most importantly high impact resistance and slip resistant.
Providing a safe, yet appealing environment for its community was of high importance to SwanCare. The facility wanted its environment to offer high quality products that were also design friendly.
Approach
The facility needed an environment that was suitable for a large production kitchen, and that was easy to clean for staff.
SwanCare looked for products that were most importantly hygienic for its residents. The facility was after a floor and wall installation that would contain a classic design, yet was practical and long lasting.
With other hospitality and foodservice consultants also successfully using Altro Whiterock wall paneling within their kitchens, it was an easy decision for SwanCare to do the same.
Solution
Altro Whiterock White and Altro Strongold K30 Dolphin were chosen for SwanCare Bentley Park.
“All in all, it was a simple choice to specify Altro wall and floor products into this new main production kitchen to provide our client SwanCare with a fully integrated hygienic wall and floor solution with very low maintenance and a long warranty” Chris Arrell (Senior Consultant & Director of Hospitality & Foodservice Consultants).
Altro Whiterock White is the perfect replacement to wall tiles, with proven high performance. A hygienic alternative to tiles, that’s impact resistant, grout-free and easy to clean. Its smooth white surface and classical purity make it a timeless choice for any interior.
Altro Whiterock White is Hazard Analysis and Crytical Control Points (HACCP) approved and is made from a high-quality, food-safe PVCu polymer that can handle temperatures up to 60°C.
Altro Stronhold 30 achieves Altro’s highest rating for slip resistance and is designed to minimize risk in wet and greasy conditions for the lifetime of the flooring. As well as helping to keep staff safe from slips, it also helps reduce fatigue, thanks to its 3mm thickness which provides noise reduction and comfort underfoot.
