ALLEGRO CONCEPTS PATIENT LIFTING SLINGS
Allegro Concepts is the Australian manufacturer of Patient Lifting Equipment, including Patient Lifting Hoists and Patient Lifting Slings.
The Allegro General Purpose Slings can easily be fitted and supports patients that have some upper body control. These slings come in various sizes (from XS to XXL) and 2 types of material (Fabric and Mesh).
The Allegro General Purpose with Head Support Slings are can also be easily fitted and provides patients with neck and head support. Available in various sizes (XS to XXL) and in Fabric and Mesh* material. *Mesh material is suitable for bathing.
The Allegro Care Slings are designed for toilet transfers and bathing. These slings includes Velcro safety belt which ensures the patient is securely restrained. These sling is available in quilted fabric material and comes in 3 sizes (Small, Medium, Large). Unfortunately not all patients who need a care slings are physically able to cope with the lack of support.
The Pivot Slings are designed to lift the patients in lying or sitting position which provides the correct posture when being transferred. Pivot Slings cover all sizes, from Extra Small to Extra Extra Large and are available either in Fabric or Mesh material.
The Pivot Care Slings provide easy access to remove clothing for toilet transfers and bathing. These slings also covers sizes from Extra Small to Extra Extra Large and are available in Fabric and Mesh Material.
Custom Made Slings are great options for client who cannot use a regular products available on the market.
Custom alterations include:
- Adding a torso strap
- Extending body length for additional head support
- Extra loops for alternative positioning
- Adding a leg connection loop
- Reduction of commode aperture

SLINGS FOR SPECIAL PURPOSES
Junior range of slings are a popular product for children. It has an adjustable boned head support and gusseted base section for better fit. Junior slings come in sizes Extra small, Small and Medium and can only be used on a standard yoke.
Walking Slings are ideal products to be used in conjunction with a ceiling hoist and parallel bars to provide gait training. It eliminates any risk to a carer who might normally intervene to prevent fall. The walking slings can also be used to lift a children in a vertical position and interface with a walking device.
The Amputee Slings are specially designed for single and double lower limb amputee patients, including a commode hole and full head support. The patient is easily rolled on and off the sling for lifting. The sling provides great security and support when lifting patients from the floor or bed. It comes in 2 sizes and is available in Fabric or Mesh Material.
The Patient Standing Slings are used in conjunction with the Salsa Standing Hoist for weight bearing clients. These slings are available in Medium, Large or Extra Large size with an option of Velcro or buckle closure. Leg strap can be an optional extra which will facilitate a sealed or semi-standing transfer. These slings come standard with keyhole clips but can be ordered with loop attachment for use with other manufacturers hoists.
