A shower trolley is a refreshing alternative to a full immersion bath; aside from the hygiene benefits it gives patients the dignity they deserve and caregivers are supported through the multiple features of shower trolleys.
Here at Active Mobility Systems we provide a range of solutions for safe patient showering, bathing and transfer for nursing homes and home care. Our selection of shower trolleys comes from some of the world’s most trusted brands such as Reval, Pacific Shower and Ergolet.
The Pacific Shower is a unique solution for safe patient showering, bathing and transfers as its soft, padded top for patients with delicate skin or disabilities. Meanwhile its unique electric tubsides actuation provides an ergonomic working height for caregivers and ensures safer patient transfers.
It is carefully designed to be intuitive and easy to use meaning that only minimal user training is needed. Furthermore it features fully electric controls with battery backup and the tub sides can be lowered to become flush with patient platform.
The shower trolley’s high performance is due to its LINAK and TENTE components with a safe working load of 200kg and 125mm corrosion-resistant castors along with waterproof. There is a low battery warning light on the handset to warn carers when the battery is low.
Ergolet’s Lambda shower trolley is designed to help bedridden patients go to the bathroom while at the same time provide a safe working environment for carers when heavy lifting must be eliminated. Extremely easy to use the Lambda’s functions are all combined into a sturdy hand control with hi-lo battery powered lifting.
It features a separate motor that allows the showering surface to tilt up to 10o which ensures client comfort and adequate water drainage. The shower trolley also has adjustable and lockable side and end rails for safety along with large and easy-to-manoeuvre wheels.
It can hold up to 175kg and is made from powder coated steel. The Lambda is able to lift to a height of up to 103cm with a width and length of 78cm and 206cm respectively.
The Iris has been designed to help patients with a wide range of postural and cognitive challenges shower and do hygiene routines thanks to its multi-position posture management. Due to its variable seat and platform height mattress platform it also has an ergonomic benefit for ccarers by working at a height which suits them best.
With a waterproof and comfortable profiling mattress with high sides it can be used as a mobile transfer system for both patients and service users in a supine or seated position. For additional safety the Iris has lockable side security rails with comfort pillow and body belt and retracting stabilising chassis for additional comfort.
