Such is the case with the refurbishment for BECA offices in Tauranga where Morgan Holton of BECA created a striking acoustic feature wall using Asona’s 50 mm thick Fabwall panels in varying shapes to give depth and texture to an otherwise plain wall whilst absorbing unwanted sound to this meeting area.
Likewise for Little India’s new Porirua restaurant Ruth Parnell from Catalyst Consulting also selected Fabwall acoustic wall panels to control unwanted noise in this vibrant space. In each dining area Ruth made up a 3D pattern with Fabwall panels in 25, 50 and 75 mm thickness. The panels were wrapped in decorative fabric finishes sourced from Textile Mania with colours inspired by the original stained glass windows.
So you can see that with good design, effective products and our technical advice, controlling unwanted noise can be achieved both in a practical sense and in making a visually dramatic statement.
