Project Exclusive - @virginactiveaustralia, Pitt Street. A hub for health and fitness located in the heart of Sydney’s CBD.

Known for its expansive spaces, premium equipment and how its guests can enjoy access to over 100 fitness and wellbeing classes.

Refurbished in 2019, the Virgin Active gym houses a 25m pool, spa, climbing wall, café, and a large gymnasium floor.

During this refurbishment, the durability of the products and materials used was the main priority. The spaces have been built to last and withstand high loads of equipment, floor finishes and its high traffic environment.
ASP Access Floors installed 72m2 of our Urban Interlock product within the new changeroom amenities at Virgin Active, Pitt St.

With these spaces housing showers and other bathroom facilities, tiles were laid over our Interlock product. Our Urban Interlock panels have been designed to provide a solid structure that is raised above an existing slab. With the panels interlocking edge profile, it ensures the panel remains locked together. This eliminates all movement, providing a stable surface to lay tile finishes.

At Virgin Active Pitt St, the flooring was finished to a 430mm floor height, creating a void for cabling and plumbing connections.

Our Interlock product provides great durability and lifespan which will significantly reduce any ongoing costs within these areas.
