AGG continues to reduce its Embedded Carbon Footprint

Australian Glass Group uses Variable Speed Drives (VSD) on the electric motors of our key machinery. VSD’s provide Energy Efficiency by controlling the frequency and voltage output to exactly when it is needed. This minimises energy waste when not in use, increases the efficiency in our quality and also results in the extension of machinery life and the reduction of noise from machinery, supporting broader environmental benefits and a safer workplace.

Add this to other initiatives like the recycling of glass, water, energy efficient LED lighting and the use of solar panels and AGG proudly continues to look at ways to reduce our overall embedded carbon footprint in the production of our glass products.
