Summer is here, the heat is back, and you know what that means - discomfort all around. Especially large warehousing buildings crafted entirely from steel. It’s no longer enough to roll up a few roller doors and hope for a breeze. Nope, it's time to bring out the big guns, to beat the heat.

Having proper ventilation within a warehouse is crucial, especially during summer. Consider the heat you feel when walking into your backyard shed during the summer seasons, now picture that temperature in a warehouse size space. High temperatures and clumps of stagnant air can cause an array of issues, such as; heat stress, reduced employee productivity and damage to goods.
So, what is ventilation?
Ventilation moves outdoor air into a building, and distributes it within. The general purpose of ventilation in buildings is to provide healthy air for breathing by both diluting the pollutants originating in the building and removing pollutants from it. Like we said before, in summer, it's no longer sufficient to open a door or two; you need a powerful tool like a HVLS fan from Big Ass Fans.
How can fans improve ventilation in a warehouse?
Fans are one of the most important tools that can be used to move air within a building space.
By placing a fan close to windows and roller doors, the fans will increase the rate at which outside air is mixed with the inside air and help remove virus particles by blowing air out.
