Initially serving as the NSW distributor for a foreign company's folding doors and operable walls, the business took a pivotal turn in the mid-1980s when its overseas partner ceased operations. Seizing the opportunity, Bildspec transitioned to producing its own line of operable walls using top-notch locally sourced components. Concurrently, the company relocated from Redfern to a manufacturing hub in Marrickville, and then to Regents Park. With sustained growth, the company shifted its manufacturing base from Marrickville to a state-of-the-art facility in Regents Park, NSW.
