Bildspec Operable Walls has installed two Series 100 Rw49 moveable office partition walls to JC’s George St, Sydney Head Office.  These centre stacking operable walls with mechanical retracting bottom seals were specified by architect M Moser Associates whilst the office build was completed by boutique fit out and refurbishment company Metem.

Bildspec worked very closely with M Moser Associates on the job to create the perfect solution to fulfill the design intent by giving the end user the maximum flexibility for the multi-use area which spanned a large meeting room and common staff area.

Apart from creating a flexible space, these movable office partition walls are able to greatly reduce a significant amount of external noise from passing through the operable walls into each the meeting and common areas when the wall is engaged. Different combinations of top/bottom seals and board constructions are crucial in the wall’s ability to overcome sound transmission issues.
