A high end commercial office tower in Brisbane CBD had been designed pre Cavid-19 with traditional, manual bathroom accessories. In the early stages of construction, Covid-19 hit.
The realisation that to get people back into commercial work spaces, hygienic, innovative, touchless options would need to be integrated into design.
The architect sought out matching sensor soap dispensers and taps with a top feed option and multiple soap system to offer touchless handwashing.
The solution meant the building kept up with industry trends and consumer needs. The added options to support the touchless design meant the facilities managers were able to easily maintain these new designs and complied to Work Health and Safety.
As this design had already been completed, some changes needed to be made to access with added access panels being designed.
Within the PWD bathrooms, adequate cavity space was not available for wall mounted, tubular dispensers. So the architect chose Vanity mounted sensor dispenser and matchingtops.
