We can think of no better way to gain inspiration for upcoming projects than to peruse the pages of magazines and pins of Pinterest for super stylish bathrooms – especially when they belong to celebrities.
1. Jackie ‘O’ Henderson
Australian’s best-known radio host and The Masked Singer panellist refurbished, Jackie ‘O’ Henderson, created this gorgeous bathroom sanctuary as part of the 2014 renovation of her home in Vaucluse, Sydney.
Featuring a calming neutral colour palette and sophisticated, classic design, this bathroom is one of three in the home. We love all the detail in this room, like the timber moulding on the side of the bath and the use of marble tiles throughout, in both subway and penny round style.
2. Alec Baldwin
The sophisticated master bathroom at Alec Baldwin’s East Hampton home ticks a lot of boxes for us. We love that it’s light and bright and incorporates soft furnishings, often not seen in a bathroom, to make it beautiful, comfortable and homely. Just don’t forget the ventilation!
3. Jennifer Aniston
Wouldn’t we all like “Friends” with a bathroom like this! Set in the foothill of the Santa Monica mountains, Aniston’s Bel Air mansion has an amazing vista from every room – the bathrooms included! We don’t know what we love most - the luxurious marble bath tub, the impeccable styling or the outlook to the private courtyard garden.
4. Meryl Streep
Widely touted as “the best actress of her generation”, Meryl Steep is not just able to wow audiences with her performances in musicals, comedies and dramas, but perhaps with her green fingers too! We love the oversized Fiddle-leaf figs that adorn the window ledge in her classic, understated (in celebrity terms!) bathroom. What a gorgeous view for anyone lying back in that deep freestanding bath. And we love how she’s incorporated a beautiful piece of furniture as extra storage in the room.
5. Jessica Alba
This enviable bathroom belongs to actress Jessica Alba, her film producer husband, Cash Warren, and their three children.
We love how the steel-framed glass door encloses the shower and bath to create its own wet room within the bathroom. The clever combination of chic marble walls and ceiling, with the timber ‘decking’ floor is practical for a family bathroom, while still exuding elegance.

6. Jon Bon Jovi
After bathing in this freestanding tub with the sublime view of New York City from Jon Bon Jovi’s Greenwich Village apartment, you’ll be ready to fall into a “Bed of Roses”. Bathrooms are traditionally dark rooms, so if you have the opportunity to let light flood in through a picture window (without shocking the neighbours!), we say go for it! Even if your view isn’t half this good.
7. Serena Williams
Could this bathroom be the definition of monochrome perfection? What’s not to love about the tiled black and marble stripes in the shower, the pops of gold hardware and all the little details like the built-in shower seat and pedestal for the freestanding bath. We think this bathroom is a winner – game, set and match.
Even if a complete replica of these A-list bathrooms isn’t within your budget, you might find elements you can incorporate in your design. Like centering your bath in front of the windows, bringing the outdoors in with a wall of plants or using timber flooring in lieu of tiles.
