The frame is constructed from Corten steel, which oxidises on the surface to give a rustic appearance. Corten is a low maintenance product and does not need to be painted. All timbers are class 1 durability Australian hard woods, sourced from government managed forests and finished in Quantum Gold dipping oil. High wear surfaces including bin lids and drinking fountain basins are fabricated using stainless steel with a satin finish. Since timber is bio-degradable and the steels are infinitely recyclable, this product range meets ecological commitments in many ways.
