When it comes to sustainable products you can't go past Acoustic+ Wall, Acoustic+ Ultra Wall and Acoustic+ LouvreWall.
All three noise abatement products are made from cold-rolled light gauge steel which is a highly recyclable construction material. Steel is 100 percent recyclable and can be re-purposed because it doesn't lose any of its integrity or quality during the recycling process.
Steel is not down-cycled…in the way that concrete is crushed to become aggregate or timber is shredded to become chipboard. In theory, a steel beam can be made into a different type of beam or a roof panel or a car door.
The other material used in Acoustic+ Wall, Acoustic+ Ultra Wall and Acoustic+ LouvreWall is thermally bonded polyester fibre. This is the attenuation core which captures the noise. It is made from recycled PET packaging such as drink bottles.
This trio of acoustic solutions is ideal if you are looking for a 'green' product to complement your sustainable building design.
