Con-form Group is joining engineers around the globe in celebrating World Engineering Day today, with the theme of Engineering Innovation For A More Resilient World. Innovation is our middle name (!). Years ago we revolutionised the HVAC&R platform industry with our breakthrough lightweight / modular / prefab / easy to install / cost-effective mechanical plant platforms. Since then we have never stopped innovating as evidenced by our rafter-mount Span+ platform and our tuneable Acoustic+ Screens (the first tuneable system on the market!). Each evolution of our products improves their performance and return on investment…and they are all 100% recyclable.

A big thank you to our amazing team of mechanical and structural engineers at Con-form Group. Thanks to them we continue to customise our solutions to suit every project - including the challenging retrofits. No building - from libraries and fast food outlets to the biggest distribution centres and data centres - have ever proved to be too difficult for our engineering team.

For a number of years Con-form Group has been a partner of Engineers Australia, a relationship we appreciate very much, and we were excited last week to present to their members as part of their CPD program. Managing Director Nigel Cro spoke on the topic of Overcoming Acoustic Challenges In A Heating World in the first of their Thought Leader Series for 2024. Next month he will be at the Engineers Australia office in Sydney to do another TLS presentation and provide more information to assist engineers working in the construction-HVACR industry.

An Australian engineer once said from the time you wake up in the morning until you go to bed at night everything you use and see around you came from an engineer. The alarm clock, mobile phone, hot water system, coffee maker, toaster, car, traffic lights, lift, elevator, air conditioning, computer, power tools…. So here is a huge thank you to engineers everywhere. Where would we be without you?!!!!!
