The newest version of our Span+ Rafter Mount HVAC&R Platform was unveiled to members of Engineers Australia in Sydney as part of our latest Thought Leader Series presentation: The Evolution Of Equipment Platforms To Prefab Design.
Nigel Cro(Managing Director) and Royce Tosen (Principal - Innovation and Technology) delivered an overview of the history of roof mounted platforms from the original structural steel versions of the past 50 years to today's lightweight and modular systems which were pioneered by Con-form Group. The Span+ 2.0 platform will be released nationally in a few months.

Australian Manufacturing Week is a highlight on the calendar and once again members of our Research & Development and Innovation teams were there to examine the latest advances in manufacturing technology.
The Sydney expo was also an opportunity for us to catch up with international suppliers whom we have known for many years. A number of them have assisted in the growth of our Manufacturing Centre of Excellence (over five years we progressed through four types of press brakes as our requirements kept increasing).
2024 is a big year of change for Con-form Group and in the near future we will be unveiling the dramatic expansion of our manufacturing facility and the additional products we will bring to market. Watch this space.

Thanks for stopping to say Hello in Sydney! Despite the weather it was a well-attended night. We launched "Creativity Doesn't Have To Stop At The Roof" with a challenge to architects to come up with unique designs for rooftop screens for us to engineer and manufacture.
We have recently completed a number of quite different configurations across the nation…and we'll be continuing our message "Con-form Group: Your Creative Partner" when we join architects at the Melbourne ARC Night on June 6th. Come and visit our display.

That's how big the roof area was on this new shopping centre at Albion Park NSW where we installed no less than eight screened platforms for HVAC&R equipment. It measured more than one quarter of a kilometre in length!
Our solution features a combination of rafter mounted Span+ platforms with a new application for our ClassicScreen Wall: instead of it only being a visual barrier we spaced out the panels to allow air flow (18%) through to the plant equipment to ventilate it.
