Con-form Group has been in partnership with Engineers Australia for a number of years now and this is a relationship we value greatly. Engineers are central to our existence.
Engineers Australia is the peak body for professionals in this field and it has more than 120,000 members from the many different engineering disciplines. It has members in over 120 countries around the globe. The organisation promotes careers in engineering. We have a great lack of engineers in Australia - less than 9 percent of all university graduates studied engineering and this is the sixth lowest level of people in this field out of the OECD nations.
As a partner, Con-form Group has the privilege of engaging directly with Engineers Australia members. We present webinars and speak at in-person events as part of their Thought Leader Series. To date, our Managing Director Nigel Cro has shared knowledge on a variety of topics including The History of HVACR Mounting, Acoustic Treatment of HVACR Machinery, Seismic Compliance of Non-Structural Components, Future Proofing HVACR Mounting Technologies, and much more.

At Con-form Group, we have our own team of engineers and we also work alongside engineers attached to each construction project. In short, we couldn't do what we do without them.
Our in-house team of mechanical and structural engineers is embedded into every platform-screen solution we develop because in most cases they are customised to suit the individual parameters of each site. Each roof environment is unique. For example, the materials they are made from, steel or concrete, their load bearing structure (eg. purlins or rafters or concrete), and their pitch. Which is why the engineers start each project as a blank canvas.
Not only is it rare to have identical HVACR platform-screen solutions on two sites…we also have to develop different solutions for the same site. Sometimes, when a project throws up a specific challenge (such as with older roof structures on retrofit projects), the engineers are called on to develop first-of-a-kind solutions. This year they have had to design unique stub columns and brackets.
When our engineers aren't involved with HVACR projects they are working in our Product Development Centre. Con-form Group's DNA is very much about innovation and a month doesn't go by that were not 'pushing the envelope' or 'thinking outside the box'.
As part of our partnership, we were given permission to display the Engineers Australia logo on all of our marketing and communication and we are very proud to display that relationship.
