Purlin or Rafter Mount? Concrete Roof?

Con-form Group has developed revolutionary lightweight HVACR platforms which suit all roof types because no two sites are the same. A lot of roof purlins are capable of supporting loads and we install our penetration-free EasyMech MR there.

Some roof structures are not designed to support tonnes of HVACR plant equipment via their purlins - we experience this when retrofitting older buildings - which is why we came up with the Span+ Rafter Mount Platform. It can span distances between rafters of 10.2 metres or greater.

Concrete is a completely different story with our EasyMech CR featuring EasyFoot CR pads with Anti-Vibration Anti-Noise Technology.

Having this mixture of technology at our fingertips means that when we find a site which requires more than one type of platform, we're prepared, as was the case with this building in Queensland.

All of these platforms support live loadings of 2.5kPa, 5.0kPa or more. They are all designed and produced in our Manufacturing Centre of Excellence as modular prefabricated units which are very easy to crane to the roof and carry into position. Like all Con-form Group products they are guaranteed for 25 years.
