Koichi Takada Architects - Featuring Ever Art Wood Kabebari

The Ever Art Wood battens, engineered in Japan, prove both a functional and economical alternative to real timber battens. Dimensionally perfect, the Kabebari battens comprise of two sections, with one affixed to the structure and the other simply snapping on, simplifying installation and concealing all fixings. Available in long lengths, the battens enabled a streamlined, uninterrupted linear aesthetic.

Without straying away from their signature warm materiality, the design team at @koichitakadaarchitects chose the Ever Art Wood batten cladding, a lightweight, high-quality aluminium product with a photorealistic timber finish.
