Utilising DecoBatten’s QuickClick 46x25mm aluminium batten profile across the full lower façade, including front doors and garage doors, meant the batten cladding provides a seamless transition between the two residences creating the illusion of a single dwelling. It also provided a quick and easy installation option, that could be installed directly onto the exterior walls with no visible fixings to achieve the visual aesthetic of the design requirements.

The designer’s selected the light-timber DecoWood® Curly Birch finish to complement the contrasting colours of the upper level, providing a contemporary yet natural elegance to the overall design palette. The ‘Class 2’ UV-resident and marine grade power coat finish was an important selection due to the close proximity of the property to the ocean.
