Instructions
1.  Â
We grow plants along
them, rest things against them and leave stuff around them. So before you paint
your fence, tie back and cover your garden, remove any bikes or cars, brush
away any dirt and lay down a drop cloth.
2.  Â
To ensure you achieve
the best results possible, use a wire brush to remove imperfections on older
fences and an anti-moss solution to combat mould.
3.  Â
To make life easier
begin by loading your brush and painting the board that runs along the bottom
of your fence. Be careful not to pick up any dirt from the ground. Then paint
in the valleys where the roller canât reach. Once youâve painted all three
sides of the valley with an even coat, you can use a roller to paint the
vertical timbers. To see how to paint your fence with a brush or roller click here.
TIP:Â For a smooth finish use your roller in a vertical up and
down motion.
4.  Â
If youâre using a
spray gun youâre about to have a lot of fun in half the time. After reading the
instructions carefully, point the spray gun directly ahead and spray up and
down. Release your finger from the trigger when you get to the top and bottom
to prevent too much paint forming in one area and dripping.
TIP:Â Donât paint on a windy day or you may end up painting your
car or house.
