Cladding Waste: Can You Recycle It? ABSOLUTELY!

SHAPE Australia Group Executive (Strategy), George Panacheril, takes Lish Fejer, from ABC Radio Canberra, through the rectification of three buildings located in the National Circuit Precinct and the subsequent recycling of the cladding waste removed - leveraging the Ecoloop process.

Led by SHAPE, 12,000m2 of non-compliant panels removed were recycled through the Ecoloop process, and the materials repurposed into new products like aluminium building products and plastic pallets.

In addition to processing the waste material, Fairview's Vitradual was chosen as the replacement material.
