SUSTAINABILITY // The ACT Government's Sustainable Building Pathway

The Australian Capital Territory (ACT) government has initiated a Sustainable Building Pathway, with a guide outlining clear objectives to attain climate readiness and promoting collaboration among the construction industry, the government and the community to achieve these goals.

The pathway focuses on three main points of action, including ensuring future-fit buildings, reducing energy use and emissions, and collaborative progress. All focal points enforce a sustainable mindset and sustainable actions throughout the building industry. An increased climate-resilient built environment is the wider vision, where the three parties will need to work together and move towards a more sustainable future.
