We’re Delighted to Share that Holcim Australia has been Awarded Bronze at Holcim's Prestigious Australia, Middle East and Asia CSR & Sustainability Awards!

Our CEO, George Agriogiannis, had the honour of accepting this recognition on behalf of our team, celebrating our efforts to advance sustainability in the construction materials industry.

The award recognises our innovative use of Hydrogen on Demand (HoD) technology, which adds hydrogen to diesel engines to improve fuel combustion. This reduces diesel use, cuts carbon emissions, and delivers both environmental and cost-saving benefits.

Results from the HoD Initiative:

• Lang Lang Quarry: 19% fuel reduction, cutting diesel usage from 93L/hour to 75L/hour
• Cooma Road Quarry: 16% fuel savings, reducing usage from 27L/hour to 20L/hour
• Future Installations: Dubbo and Moriac quarries are set to save 15–20% in diesel consumption

These early performance figures reinforce how innovative solutions like HoD can transform operations at sites with limited grid access. It’s a significant step in our journey towards achieving sustainable future.
