A dive into Bay Builds

Knotwood Australia recently featured in Kyal and Kara’s newest online series Bay Builds.The series follows carpenter Kyal and designer Kara, household names from Nine Network’s The Block, as they tackle two stunning side-by-side homes on the Coastal Coast.

The two homes feature an impressive array of Knotwood profiles, from battens systems to fabricated louvre screens. The striking front facade showcases our wood grain finish ‘Sycamore’. Adding warmth and texture across the garage door, awnings and screens, this colour selection ties together the luxurious modern beach aesthetics of the property.

The second-storey curved awning is a defining component of this project's identity. To execute this feature, Kyal & Kara opted for our 100x50mm aluminium wood grain battens. As seen throughout the instalment process in Ep 7, Knotwood is low maintenance, easy to install and looks absolutely stunning!

“I didn’t want to have any maintenance, especially with this front facade… so we’ve opted to go with Knotwood (100x50mm Battens),” Kyal explains.
