WALKING FOOTBALL BRISBANE INC (WFB)

We are so pleased to announce we have sponsored the representative teams for 'Walking Football Brisbane Inc.' 

Founded by Alan Templeton (former S.A Rothman's and N.A.S.A league player) in 2017, Walking Football Brisbane Inc. is a wholly member-owned, not-for-profit, sporting association managed by a committee of dedicated football-loving volunteers. The continued success of what Alan Templeton started all those years ago would not have been possible without the support of their wonderful members, the generous assistance of their sponsorship partners, and the continued encouragement from their affiliates.

WFB has the mission of promoting Walking Football as a fun and inclusive activity that improves the physical and mental health and well-being of Australians in a safe non-contact environment, regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, health condition or experience.

WFB's aim for every player is to:

• Improve their fitness
• Make physical activity fun and endearing
• Build life-long friendships and work as a team

In addition, WFB has selected players for teams to represent their association at the highest level of competitive walking football throughout Australia at which they have achieved many tournament successes.

WFB is also proud to have had 23 of their members represent Australia at various international walking football tournaments over the last three years. Most recently, 19 members attended the IWFF Walking Football World Championship in Chesterfield, England, at which one of their members received the trophy for Best Male Player at the event.
