On the Left- This is how Mitsubishi test your car before you buy it!
On the Right- This is how Mitsubishi test your ALPOLIC NC façade panels at CSIRO before you buy it! AS 5113 façade fire test, introduced here in AUS in response to the Lacrosse façade fire in Melbourne.
When it comes to facade cladding materials, fire safety should always be a top priority. As design consultants and fire safety professionals, we always want to provide our clients with the "world's best practice."
Here's a test comparison video between 4mm Mitsubishi ALPOLIC™ NC vs 3mm Solid Aluminium panels, tested to AS 5113. The test was conducted here in Australia at the CSIRO NATA approved facility. Please note that these 3mm solid aluminium cladding panels are currently specified for many building/hospital facade cladding projects. See the 3 MIN test video here https://qoo.ly/39m4q6
Things to watch for:
⚠️ 00:10:00 - heat damage to the top level on the Solid Aluminium vs Mitsubishi ALPOLIC™ NC
⚠️ 00:14:20 - flame in and behind the facade and flame at the top of the wall in 3mm Solid panel (Note – This is an instant FAIL)
⚠️ 00:17:20 - full panel dislodges from wall, the test rig thermocouple is the only thing that stops it from falling to the ground (Note – With 2kg debris limit, this panel alone weighs approx. 25kg)
