Otis Supports Smart Mobility at Futuristic Vivo R&D Center in East China

The inspiring design of the Vivo R&D Center in East China poses challenges for vertical transportation that Otis technology and expertise can address.

Global technology company Vivo has chosen Otis to serve their new futuristic “V”-shaped Vivo Global AI R&D Center currently under construction in Hangzhou, East China. .

To accommodate the building’s unique spatial layout, Otis will install 66 elevators, including 43 Otis Gen3™ connected elevators and 23 Skyrise® high-rise elevators, all equipped with Otis Compass® 360 smart destination management and Otis ONE™ digital platform.

This combination will provide passengers with an elevated experience. They will enjoy shorter wait times and faster and more efficient journeys thanks to Compass 360, which analyzes passenger flow in real time and dispatches elevators to optimize the passenger experience and promote energy efficiency.

The entire system will be monitored around the clock by Otis ONE, which harnesses big data analytics and predictive maintenance to identify and address potential issues before they arise. This brings a new level of transparency to building managers while enhancing passenger safety.
