Get ready for an exclusive look behind the scenes of one of our latest projects in collaboration with Birdon Group. The team at Birdon designed and constructed two new state-of-the-art firefighting vessels, selecting Pyrotek’s essential acoustic soundproofing solutions to address noise and vibration challenges and meet stringent noise requirements for the Port Authority of New South Wales. The vessels launched in Sydney Harbour and Botany in January, with our materials also providing thermal insulation to ensure the ultimate comfort and safety for crew members.

The Burra and Girawaa are the fastest response vessels ever commissioned by Port Authority NSW and will play a crucial role in responding to incidents in Sydney ports, including vessel fires, oil pollution and water rescues.
