Serge Ferrari Group would like to thank all its employees, local authorities and associations for their active participation in the collections organized over the last three weeks at all Group's European sites. Indeed, faced with the humanitarian crisis, the Group's management decided very early on to mobilize its logistical network to deliver basic necessities to the Ukrainians. On all the Group's sites, the surge of solidarity has been unprecedented.
Until now, 3 trucks representing more than 12 tons of basic necessities (food, hygiene, blankets/sleeping bags) have been transported to Giofex (the Group's distributor in Poland), which has worked locally with several humanitarian associations to rapidly distribute the donations. In the next few days, two other trucks will depart to complete this voluntary and supportive initiative for a total assistance of 21 tons approx.
This endeavour is accompanied by other decisions that the Group is taking in line with its values, its CSR project and European directives, such as suspending deliveries to Russia and Belarus, to contribute to the various challenges raised by this crisis.
