SERGE FERRARI UNVEILS LATEST PRODUCTS AT R+T DIGITAL

Soltis Veozip, the first outdoor screen designed for Zip blind systems: a new outdoor product at the cutting edge of technique and elegance.

On a market for residential and commercial screens that has used the same products for years, Soltis Veozip delivers novelty in terms of look and design, to achieve a modern aesthetic. Developed after a meticulous assessment of the requirements associated with Zip blind system, this new screen provides a solution to most of the system’s problems, while offering unparalleled visual comfort.

New colour palette for Soltis Horizon 86 and Soltis Perform 92 

The colour palette for the Soltis Horizon 86, Soltis Perform 92 and Soltis Opaque B92 ranges has been updated by Anne Emery, Co-Director of the trend consulting firm “Aujourd’hui Ou Mardi”, to perfectly complement RAL colours most commonly used for window and door frames.The result? 38 colourways available for Soltis Perform 92, 12 of which new (including Snow White, Quartz, Shea, Cloud, Bold Blue) and 23 colourways for Soltis Horizon 86, 6 of which new (Snow White, Brick, Bold Blue, Anise, Deep Red and Deep Black).

Soltis Proof W88

Thanks to the translucent PVC coating applied directly to the product’s surface during the manufacturing process (resulting in a translucent Précontraint® product), Soltis Proof W88 is weatherproof (watertight and UV resistant), lightweight, easily rollable and permeable to natural light. Suitable for outdoor ceilings including pergolas, Zip roof systems and shade sails, Soltis Proof W88 may be used by professionals and savvy home owners alike.

Soltis Master 99 Agivir 

Serge Ferrari has developed Agivir, a patented new technology delivering bactericidal and virucidal properties (including against coronavirus). This new development was made possible by the continued efforts of a team of ten researchers and technicians with complementary skills who spent several months during 2020 working on this project. Prompted by the current health situation, and considering the fact that fabrics used for indoor blinds are rarely cleaned and may therefore act as sources of virus transmission, the Group has decided to apply this new treatment to one of its solar protection products: Soltis Master 99, an industry-leading solution, recognised for its performance acting as a barrier against glare and heat.

Thanks to this innovative treatment, Soltis Master Agivir eliminates more than 99.9% of coronavirus virions after only 24 hours of contact (protocole based on the ISO 21702 standard with coronavirus 229E, commonly used in SARS-CoV-2 research).In addition to its antiviral properties, Soltis Master Agivir also displays bactericidal properties, with a capacity to destroy more than 99.9% of bacteria.

Soltis Master 99 Agivir was nominated for an R+T Innovation Award in the Textile Sun Protection category. A Jury comprised of trade association representatives, editors, architects and experts in the field convened to select only the most innovative and effective products in each category. The official award ceremony will be held on Friday 22 February, on the Day of Innovations, when the winners will be announced online. The ceremony will be broadcast live on the R+T Digital platform.
