Shield 800 is made of glass yarns and is PVC-coated. Its design meets the most stringent fire-safety requirements for the construction of industrial halls and storage structures: the B-roof norm.
This is a European regulation that qualifies materials to limit the spread of fire from one building to another.
To be more specific, in France, the B-roof (t3) classification requirement is found on most ICPE (Installations Classées pour la Protection de l'Environnement), in headings 1510 and 1530. In Germany, it's the MVV building standard that requires the use of B-roof (t1) classified materials.
Serge Ferrari Group now offers a lightweight, fire-retardant solution, available in large 260 cm widths. The fabric is easy for our customers to manufacture, making the modular solution really attractive in terms of speed of installation and cost compared with a standard building.
