The Tensile team was tasked with securing two seven-story atriums for the Northern Beaches Hospital, managing everything from design to supply to installation.
It wasn’t without challenges, such as:
Allowing the hospital to maintain operation
Connecting it back to the original structure of the building to ensure that it could withstand the same loads
To keep aesthetics in alignment with the new fitted barrier as best as possible
Maintaining air flow through the atrium
All of the above taking place during heavy Covid-19 controls and wing treating patients
