ATDC has installed its heavy-duty expandable barriers https://www.trellisdoors.com.au/product/commercial-security/security-screens-and-screen-doors/s06-concertina-security-shutters to secure the entries to the new Strike Bowling outlet at City Century Walk at Glen Waverly near Melbourne.
Strike Bowling is one of Australia’s largest national tenpin bowling alley chains.
PROJECT DESIGN SPECIFICATIONS
The 4 off steel expandable barriers that were installed at this location have achieved lock up through a series of intermediate up/down locks which provide seamless security. Virtually no overhead room is required above to support these barriers-continuous structural support beams directly above the extruded aluminium head track are all that is required above and no floor track is required which would otherwise impede pedestrian traffic flow.
These systems provide more than 80% maximum airflow allowing ventilation to these commercial premises.
Maximum height is 4600mm whilst the width is unlimited.
PROJECT MANAGERS
Collingwood based Lexon Group were project managers for this installation.
COLOUR RANGE
The doors installed on this project were supplied in a standard satin black Powder coated finish. Pearl white is the other standard Powdercoat finish however other Powdercoat options are available within the Dulux Duralloy Powdercoat range.
WARRANTY
12-month warranty against defective materials and workmanship applies
PROJECT WORK
See image above showing how they fold completely out of the way and out of sight when not in use so as to provide a completely clear retail trading space.
