We pride ourselves on visual aesthetic and match it equally with durability and function. Company HistoryUrban+ was founded in Queensland, Australia in 2001 by husband and wife team, Gary and Claire Allan, after they became frustrated with the built-in obsolescence street furniture manufactures were adopting. Their mission to create products that last along with their desire to create a business that was meaningful beyond the products sold created the Urban+ DNA - to 'make life better'.In 2019, with a desire to take Urban+ to the next level, Claire & Gary brought on a new business partner, Simon Higgins, to help pave the way. A passion for sustainability and a deeper understanding of the Circular Economy (CE) provided Urban+ with a new found purpose and they now incorporate CE principles into their entire business operations to help do good for their customers, our planet and our future generations.
