Recently, Verge Safety Barriers had the opportunity to work with EBOS, Australasia’s most experienced and progressive provider of Health & Medical supplies, to improve the safety measures within their Sydney warehouse.
Having recently moved into a new facility, EBOS Healthcare sought advice from Verge Safety Barriers, a local Australian manufacturer, to partner with them and deliver a comprehensive safety package for pedestrian and asset protection!
THE PROBLEM: EBOS identified that significant foot traffic would need to traverse from the Dock Office, on one side of the warehouse, to the Main Office on the other side. With high traffic movements, including multiple forklifts and delivery vehicles, they required a clearly defined pedestrian walkway to ensure maximum protection whilst not impeding the traffic flow. Also, being a new facility, EBOS wanted to ensure that all assets were fully protected including Office Walls, Rapid Roller Doors, Workbenches and Fire Protection assets.
THE SOLUTION: Verge Safety Barriers provided a site visit to assess traffic movements and identified that the best location for the Pedestrian Walkway was outside the main warehouse, underneath the large awning. We utilised our comprehensive range of heavy duty steel barrier solutions to address their specific needs. The installation included:
