FSA FIRECOAT Exterior is water-based, halogen-free intumescentpaint for fire protection of Weathertex cladding.
FIRECOAT Exterior should be used with a compatible topcoat andcan be applied by brush, roller or airless spray.
FIRECOAT is only applicable to Weathertex primed products – notsuitable for Natural.
Key Features:
- FIRECOAT Exterior is light grey.
- It is recommended to paint over FIRECOAT Exterior with your choice of topcoat to improve durability.
- Recoat time at least 4-6 hours between coats of FSA FIRECOAT Exterior and at least 12 hours before applying topcoat.
- Clean up with water.

Application:
Can be applied by brush, Roller or Airless Spray. For BAL-29performance on Weathertex apply 3 coats using a 20mm or greaternap roller to achieve the required 1.0mm DFT.
