One look at the facade and the intention for this build is apparent: a coastal home designed for family living at every level. With a tonal theme, and timber finishes heavily featured, our Pale Oak flooring was the perfect choice to line the floors, with its neutral and classic timber look complimenting the interior palette and adding to the inviting ambience employed throughout.

The heart of the home encompasses function and form, with a pared-back colour palette that capitalises on timber's beauty and natural detail. Different timber varieties have been used in the 'complimentary clash' approach, coming together in the space to create a harmonious look.
With the biggest timber component being the floor, a neutral tone needed to be used, and the warm blonde profile of our Pale Oak made this a seamless selection. These natural-grade engineered boards display subtle variation with a few small dark-filled knots and have been a best-selling product in our range for years.
Square set premium nosings have been used on the stairs to further accentuate the timber flow in the interiors. Along with the timber balustrade, there is a smooth transition from one level to another, as the stairs and nosing pieces are crafted from the same batch of Pale Oak timber that has been used on the floor. This practice of consistency with flooring and nosings is something we pride ourselves on here at WOODCUT.
