Stepping away from the blonde timbers, and the light finishes we often see in renovated homes in Queensland, the Haig Residence takes a different path, using rich warm timbers, concrete, and earthy natural tones, giving a modern edge to this Brisbane home.
Injecting warmth and a deep caramel hue are our Calluna engineered floorboards which flow throughout the open-plan extension, harmonising beautifully with the concrete accents and brown veining that runs through the statement Blue Roma on the splashback.

A great way to inject warmth into any space is through timber, with its natural texture and imperfections it brings a charm and richness that other hard finishes don't. Crafted from French Oak, our Calluna is a mill run grade, so you can expect more natural character from these boards, and all of the colours in our French Collection.
"We chose Calluna for the Haig project as it has a natural yet sleek feel. It paired well with the organic feel of the house and added warmth to the concrete walls and ceiling. A particular highlight for me was the seamless flooring detail into the sunken lounge, which gave a cosy yet elegant feel. It was the perfect choice for the project and we are so happy with how it turned out." - Poppie Kenneally, Interior Design Director, OH Architecture
