With every house taking a different approach, the Three Birds Renovations House 16 reveal has been highly anticipated, with all of us waiting to see what they will do next. Despite the WOODCUT audience's prediction being a Voss or a Calluna house, the Three Birds have used Smokey Ash from our clean-grade Premium Ash Collection. Stepping away from using a European oak, our European ash was selected for its prominent grain and minimal knots, making this a contemporary choice whilst still being rich in texture. Slightly peachy in tone, with a deep blonde hue, our Smokey Ash has flowed through #erinsurbanfarmhouse seamlessly, marrying together the other textural and natural finishes.
Interior Design: Three Birds Renovations
Traditionally paired with monochrome and ultra-contemporary finishes, it is great to see the Three Birds taking a different approach with our Smokey Ash, using other timber tones and rustic furnishings to bring this urban farmhouse to life.
Our brass insert nosing has been used on the stairs, adding a subtle sparkle to the design whilst reinforcing the stair edge's durability. With the simplicity of the balustrade in this part of the home, the detailing of the grain in our boards and the brass detail on the nosing really brings this entryway to life.
