Improving the appearance and security of your doors and windows can come down to your choice of hardware and accessories: handles, hinges, openers, stoppers, alarms and locks.

Below are some of the door and window hardware and accessories that we offer here at Archify:

Hinges
Door hinges are similar to window joints. They connect the door to the frame and make sure your door hangs straight. In addition to securing the door's weight and enhancing the durability of the door, they can add some character to its appearance. Window hinges enable a window to open and close. Without them, the window will remain fixed in place.

Handles for Windows and Doors
A handle is used to open and close the door/window it is attached to. Handles come in a variety of shapes and sizes, typically growing in size to match the weight of the door/window it is required to open.

Door Stop
Door stops, also known as door stoppers or wedges, are used to secure a door in one place: keeping it shut or preventing it from opening too wide. A door stop can be wedged under the door or placed just inside the door frame on the floor.

Door Security Systems
Door security systems refer to any type of device or system that is designed to block access to a doorway. They come in a variety of forms including chains, locks or reinforcements, as well as alarms. Door locks alone come in a variety of forms: deadbolts, knob locks, padlocks and keypad locks. The door's construction is also a key element in door security since poor materials or assembly techniques can compromise the door's structural integrity.

Window Security Systems
Window security systems also refer to any type of device or system that is designed to block access through a window.

Window Locks
Window locks can help protect your home by preventing any break-in attempts via the windows.

Door Indicator Locks
Privacy doors with indicators are generally installed for single-door bathroom stalls. The door indicator lock can be locked from the inside by a single turn and indicates if the stall is in use.

Smart Door Locks
Smart locks are electronic, mechanical locks that are wirelessly operated using a user's authentication. Smart locks allow homeowners to enter their houses or give other people access to their homes without the need for the traditional key.

Door Sensors
Sensors for doors let you know that someone has opened the door. The most commonly used kind of door sensor uses magnets to regulate a circuit, which creates an alarm or alert when the door is opened.

Door Closers
Door closers are movable, spring-loaded mechanical arms that shut a door immediately after it has been opened. The installation of a door closer ensures your door will never be left open, improving security.
