In creating Aqua for Leighton Properties, the accomplished team of architects, DC8 Studio in association with KANNFINCH and interiors by Koichi Takoda Architects have harmoniously fused their skill and creativity.
Twin towers curve upwards shaping a new skyline silhouette to maximise sun, air and views. Inside, these flowing architectural ideals evolve into cosmopolitan living spaces that dissolve the boundaries between city and sea. This project offers 129 apartments over 20 levels and demonstrates DC8 Studio’s collaborative ability to bring value to the design team.
The sales office and apartment display was a temporary installation in the existing commercial building located on the site and contained a sales area as well as an apartment display. A large backlit panel gives a sense of the outlook which offers one of the best views of Sydney with the Opera House, Harbour Bridge and City all composed together.
Upon opening, the sales office hosted a vibrant hive of activity where the release sold out in a matter of hours, thus successfully launching the project to market.
