Cayas Architects are proud to be providing full Architecture and Interior Design services for the new Brook Hotel project, located adjacent to the Brookside Shopping Centre North of Brisbane. The development consists of a new Tavern, 60 room Motel and Dan Murphy’s liquor store. Bordering Kedron Brook the development embraces views to the North East over the creek toward Teralba Park and the Mitchelton Football Club. Internally the Tavern and Motel revolve around an enormous Moreton Bay Fig tree which will become a focal point for the development, creating public space with an Arbour connecting it to the shopping centre as well as an extensive beer garden under the tree. This project is currently being assessed by the Brisbane City Council via a development Application and construction is intended to start in mid 2021.
