Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP)'s new campus (Phase 1) in Pekan, Pahang is located on a 642 acre site near the Lagenda Golf and Country Resort near Pekan, approximately 40km to the south of Kuantan. Phase 1 under AJM comprises of two faculties – Faculty of Electrical Engineering Technology and Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Technology. Each faculty comprises of an Administrative blocks, an Academic block and several laboratories. The development of 48,000 sq.m gross floor area was completed in 2010 and has been operational since then.
