Inspired by Tadao Ando - the renowned architect, Andy believes nature and environment are the key irreplaceable elements in interior design. Growing up in a village, Andy used to draw raw material locally from nature for making his toys when he was small. NATURE means a lot to him, not only is it a natural gift for mankind, but also our HOME. Graduated in 2000, Andy started working in different design firms and strived to infuse nature elements into his projects. However, it's always not easy to change the status quo, especially when overly luxurious and hotel-ish styles are dominant in Chinese society. After 2 years, intended to enrich his knowledge in interior design, Andy seeked for further education in UK; a country that possesses strong stance on environmental protection. He believes, design is a powerful key to arouse people's awareness on the importance of nature, HOME SWEET HOME could never stand alone without it.
