y.architects is inspired by the passion of creating environmenatally sustainable built environments. They consistently produce works that respond to climate, place and time. Design excellence is of primary concern and the studio achieves by responding differently to varying clients' briefs. y.architects always aim to use sustainability as a core creative design generator and is practised all through the design development process. Design solutions are fundamentally simple, refreshing but cost effective. Established in 1995, their range of work includes masterplans, high rise apartments, high-end residential, mass housing, schools, hotels. health facilities, banking facilities, bungalows and office/retail interiors. y.architects is an architectural and interior design studio founded by directors, Yap Yew Peng and Yvonne Yap. Supported by a dedicated team led by associates Raffi Ramly, Abu Hurai and Jiih Kui, they have always remained focussed and have received 27 Awards in 21 years of practice.
