HKIDA x CIFF: 設交"領航"—灣區設計新視野

The "設交"領航 event, hosted by the Hong Kong Interior Design Association (HKIDA) and the China International Furniture Fair (CIFF) in Guangzhou, took place on March 19-20. It brought together over thirty designers from the Greater Bay Area, including notable figures like Danny Cheng from Danny Cheng Interiors, CM Jao from HKIDA, Eric Tam of ETDesign, and Wang Xiaofeng from UHouse Design.
On the first day, there was a forum called "灣區設計新視野." Designers from Hong Kong, Macau, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen discussed new trends and ideas in Bay Area design and explored ways to collaborate. CM Jao also attended a gala dinner where he connected with interior designers from around the world.
The second day featured a panel discussion at the World Summit focused on "Cultural Intelligence." CM Jao shared his thoughts on design through a cultural lens alongside other industry experts. Attendees also visited the 55th China (Guangzhou) International Furniture Expo and participated in a networking session with real estate developers, showcasing their work and expanding business opportunities in mainland China.
Overall, the event showcased the collaborative spirit and creativity of the Greater Bay Area's design community.
