Join AIA Hong Kong on an exploration of Kuk Po to witness the conservation and transformation of Kai Choi School into the community hub, Kuk Po Common.
The process of revitalizing and renovating the Kai Choi School and its annex block, both of which were built in 1963 and have remained abandoned since 1993, will be shared by Professor Wang Weijen. Following the talk, Ms. Ashley Ma will lead a tour around Kuk Po, explaining how the renovation pays homage to the site's cultural importance while incorporating new design elements that have transformed the space into a communal facility accessible to the public. This project also serves as a collective memorial to the original residents of Kuk Po.
