The CIFF Asia Pacific Design Summit held from 19-21 March 2024 in Guangzhou was a resounding success. It gathered interior design associations and industry professionals from over 10 countries in the Asia-Pacific region collectively explore the future trends of intelligent design.

The AIA International Conference 2024 (AIAISC'24) is a 3-day virtual conference scheduled to take place from March 14 to 16, 2024. The conference will delve into the theme of "Decarbonizing Construction: From Material Production to Preservative Adaptive Reuse."

In a quest to explore the intersection of collaboration, cultural diversity, and architectural practice, Eric, a representative from the AIA Hong Kong Chapter, embarked on an enlightening journey to New York City. During his visit, Eric had the opportunity to delve into the vibrant design scene, engaging with three prominent architectural firms: Buro Koray Duman, Gehl Architects, and Henning Larsen. Their groundbreaking approaches to collaboration have redefined the boundaries of architectural practice, paving the way for innovative solutions in an increasingly interconnected world

Co-organized by Allied Sustainability and Environmental Consultants Group Limited (AEC Group), CRREM - Carbon Risk Real Estate Monitor, and GBA Carbon Neutrality Association (GBACNA), this webinar aims to introduce the 8-month Net Zero Real Estate Pioneers for China and Hong Kong CRREM Early Adopter Program that informs, instructs, and encourage the adoption of the CRREM-SBTi aligned decarbonization pathways in Hong Kong and Mainland China.

In a gathering of over 400 architects, the event featured keynote speeches and more than 12 breakout learning sessions. The discussions revolved around defining the practice of architecture and advocating for the rights of architects and the communities they serve. Witnessing hundreds of architects traveling to the capital to address the needs of their local constituents, forge new connections within local and international chapters, and delve into topics of mutual interest was a truly enlightening experience. Additionally, the event introduced the term "architectural pivots," expanding the scope of architectural pursuits.

Organised by The Hong Kong Institute of Architects Biennale Foundation (HKIABF) in partnership with The Hong Kong Institute of Architects (HKIA), with Create Hong Kong (CreateHK) of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR Government) as the Lead Sponsor. The Kuala Lumpur-Nanjing-Hong Kong Roving Architecture Exhibition (the Roving Architecture Exhibition) with the theme “Harmony in Diversity - Connecting the Metropolis by In-Between” held the official opening of its final stop at the Kai Tak AIRSIDE on 23rd February 2024. The exhibition is one of the “HKIA Roving Architecture Exhibitions” series, which was successfully held in Kuala Lumpur and Nanjing last year, and the Hong Kong stop to be held at Kai Tak AIRSIDE from 23rd February to 11th March. The exhibition is open to the public for free admission.
